Logitech has announced via a blog post that it’s discontinuing it’s beloved Harmony range of universal remotes. Logitech says that no further remotes will be manufactured, but existing customers will continue to receive support and the Harmony database will continue to be updated.
This will no doubt be sad news for fans of these remotes, as once you’re used to using one remote control for everything, it will be hard to return to a life of 3,4, 5 or even more remotes to do the same job! We love our Harmony Elite and you can read our review here. Logitech notes that you can still order one from your preferred retailer while stocks last, but once that inventory has run dry, there will be no more. At the time of writing, Amazon UK currently still have the Harmony Elite in stock.
